Panayiotis is the CEO of MAP Risk Management Services (MAP RMS), MAP S.Platis Group’s specialised risk management consulting services. Panayiotis has extensive experience in the banking, insurance and financial services sectors. Panayiotis is also an HRDA-certified trainer delivering executive training courses on compliance, risk and anti-money laundering (AML).
Prior to joining MAP S.Platis Group, Panayiotis worked for more than 18 years in the banking and insurance sector, holding various positions in the areas of IT, finance and project management.
Panayiotis holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from State University of New York (SUNY), USA, a Master’s in Information Systems from Virginia Tech, USA, as a Fulbright Scholar, a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and a Master’s in Public Sector Management (MPSM). Panayiotis is a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI) as a Chartered MCSI, the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the Association of Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS). Panayiotis was also awarded with the ISO31000 Lead Risk Manager certification and is an accredited trainer by PECB, a body that awards ISO certificates. Furthermore, Panayiotis holds an Advanced Licence from CySEC to provide MiFID services, as well as CySEC’s AML Certificate.
